I had bought something just like this from Amazon. The base was so cheap and plastic and all the flags would not stay in. I ended up losing several. The base of this one is wood and very sturdy. The flags stay in and look great. It arrived so quickly too.

I remember seeing one of these on my Principal's desk in elementary school, and I always wanted one. Now that I'm at a desk so many years later I'm happy to find one at the Texas Trading Post, and can't beat the price.

made an error first time attempted ordering; thanks for coming on so fast and deleting my error....on a saturday evening especially.....haven't seen one of these since I visited the amusement park with family as a child and my old one is in poor shape; was happy to be able to replace it as a memory of happy times....thanks again....Stan M./ Houston TX
